When we opened Criterium’s doors in 2004, our purpose was to offer construction contract dispute resolution and litigation support services. We had a simple mission — to provide our clients with the best service, the best value, and the highest quality work products.
Our client list grew to include large owners, manufacturing companies, design-build and EPC contractors. After assisting these clients with their claims, they started to ask if we could assist them to turn around troubled projects experiencing schedule delay, work disruption and cost overruns to mitigate resulting losses before they became claims and disputes. To achieve successful projects, many of these same clients now ask us to assist during the formation phase of a project to assess risks and to set up schedule, cost and management controls, progress measuring and reporting systems.
Due to our client’s requests, Criterium has become a full services claims and consulting services firm. Today we now serve clients domestically and internationally, and across all engineering, construction and manufacturing industry sectors.
Criterium merged with Construction Management Services Company, LLC on March 1, 2012 and became one of the largest firms specializing in claims and consulting with unmatched credentials, experience, resources and capabilities. However, we continue to be guided by our mission to provide our clients with the best service, best value, and the highest quality work products.
Criterium provides program and project management and advisory services, construction management services, litigation and forensic consulting, and expert witness testimony. We assist clients with the management of large scale and complex construction, development and manufacturing programs and projects; and, we are regularly retained to analyze and to testify as experts on subjects related to delays, disruptions, terminations, and contract and economic damages.
Criterium works domestically and internationally and serves owners, developers, manufacturers, governments and agencies, municipalities, financial institutions, insurers, engineers and architects, construction managers, contractors, subcontractors, and their legal counsel.
